Knitted Measurements
Will stretch to fit head circumference of 18"-21"

Materials
1 ball Familia, Col. 1 (or color of your choice)
US Size 9 circular (16") and double-point knitting needles

Gauge
Approx 10 st = 3" in ribbing

To knit hat:
Cast on 59 stitches with circular needles. Join to form a circle, being careful not to twist sts. Place marker to mark beginning of round.

(K3, P3) around.
Continue till piece measures 6". On final round, increase by 1 st.

Decrease
Continuing in Pattern and switching to double point needles when needed:
Rd 1: *(Work 4 st, purl 2 sts together), rep * around - 50 sts remain.
Rd 2: *(Work 3 st, purl 2 sts together), rep * around - 40 sts remain.
Rd 3: *(Work 2 st, purl 2 sts together), rep * around - 30 sts remain.
Rd 4: *(Work 1 st, purl 2 sts together), rep * around - 20 sts remain.
Rd 5: *(Purl 2 sts together), rep * around - 10 sts remain.
Rd 6: *(Purl 2 sts together), rep * around - 5 sts remain.

Finishing:
Cut yarn, leaving a tail of about 6". Weave through remaining stitches, removing stitches from knitting needle. Draw up tightly. Weave in loose ends.
