Knitted Measurements
W9" x L56" (unblocked)

Materials
4 x Merino Xtra #504 (or color of your choice)
US Size 5 knitting needles
US 3 (3.25mm) crochet hook (optional)

Gauge
Approx 5 st = 1" in Pattern St. on #5 needles

Pattern Stitch (odd number of stitches)
R1 (RS): Knit
R2 & 4: Purl
R3: K1, *(P1, K1), rep * till end

R1-4 forms the Pattern Stitch.

To knit scarf:
CO 43 stitches.
Work Pattern Stitch until scarf measures 56".
Bind off all stitches.

Optional: With crochet hook, single crochet along vertical sides of scarf. This will give a neater finish on the sides.

Block your scarf.
