Payment and Shipping

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Paypal.
Please note that there is a $25 service charge to be borne by the customer for the folllowing:

  • A legitimate credit card transaction that is mistakenly disputed by the customer, eg. A wife may use her husband's credit card to make a purchase with us. This order is then delivered. However, when the credit card statement arrives, she either forgets to inform her husband or forgets about the transaction, and the husband does not recognize that transaction. As a result, he calls the bank to dispute the transaction. He subsequently checks with his wife, and realizes that the transaction is a legitimate transaction, and no longer disputes the charge. In situations like this, the bank imposes a $25 chargeback fee to us. We will subsequently bill this $25 chargeback fee to you.


In stock orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days of receipt of your order. You will be informed of any out-of-stock or back-ordered items via email within 2 business days of receipt of your order.

  • All orders with US destinations are shipped either via UPS or the US Postal Service.
  • All orders with APO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and Europe are shipped via the US Postal Service.
  • All international orders are shipped via the US Postal Service.

We do not ship to ALL international countries.

NuMei reserves the right to reject an order if the order originates from a country to which we do not ship. Please email us at info@numei.com for more information regarding international shipping.

Shipping and Handling Rates (USA and International)

Shipping charges include handling, packaging, freight and insurance costs and are in US Dollars. Standard shipping charges are calculated based on weight and zip code and/or country.

To obtain shipping charges for your order, place all items in your cart and enter in your zip code and/or country in the field provided.

If you receive a prompt indicating that there are no shipping options to your locale, please email us for more information as we may not ship to that country or destination.

Note: Some orders may qualify for free shipping within the USA. If your order has been shipped for free within the USA and was returned to us due to unavailability to receive delivery after multiple attempts by the carrier we use, there will be shipping charges imposed for the reshipment of the order.

Expedited/Rush Shipping (USA only)

Rush orders can only be shipped to Continental US addresses only and cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. Choose to ship either UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or UPS 3rd Day for rush orders.

Expedited shipping charges are calculated based on weight and zip code for deliveries within the United States.

*Note:

  • UPS Next Day Air means that the time in transit is 1 business day from the day package is shipped.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air means that the time in transit is 2 business days from the day package is shipped.
  • UPS 3rd Day means that the time in transit is 3 business days from the day the package is shipped, e.g. if UPS 3rd Day was selected and the package was shipped on Wednesday, the package will arrive the following Monday (weekends do not count as time in transit).

Shipping/Tracking Information

Only shipments delivered by UPS (within USA) and USPS Express Mail International (international destinations) will be provided with tracking numbers. All other shipping options selected will not have tracking numbers available.

Use of Coupons/Discounts

If you have a coupon or discount code, please enter it at the point of check-out. Please note that only one coupon/discount code may be used per order. In order to keep costs down (so we may pass on savings to you), coupons, refunds or credit cannot be applied retrospectively to orders that have already been placed.

Return Policy

Products purchased may be returned to us within 21 days of receipt. Refunds will be made in the amount of the purchase price of the product minus a 5%-25% restocking charge. There are no refunds on shipping and handling charges unless it is for an incorrectly filled order.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges incurred for shipping returned products back to us. Items returned within 14 days of receipt are subject to a 5% restocking charge. Items returned after 14 days of receipt will be subject to a 25% restocking charge. Returns made after 21 days of receipt will not be refunded. Items must be received by us within the above stipulated timeframe in order to qualify for a refund.

For returned items that have been shipped free, the shipping and handling charges as indicated in the ordering system will be deducted from the return amount.

Items returned must be accompanied by the original packaging and materials. Items must be in NEW and UNUSED condition. Only yarn with labels intact may be returned. Yarns that have been unskeined and wound into balls, or with labels removed are not acceptable for returns. All returns will be inspected prior to credit being issued. Credit will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s) returned minus restocking charge. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

When returning a product, all parts, pieces, accessories, manuals, warranty information, and printed materials must be in their original packaging with the product in order to be eligible for a refund. Closeouts, custom orders, special orders and personalized items are not returnable.

Products on sale, close-outs, Specials and Wholesale/Discount yarns sold by the bag are NOT returnable and will NOT be refunded in the event they are shipped back to us.

*The following products are not returnable:

  • Sales of Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needles, Companion Sets and Cords are final and not returnable.
  • Due to copyright laws, books and patterns may not be returned.
  • Closeouts, custom orders, special orders and personalized items, are not returnable.
  • Products on sale, close-outs, Specials and wholesale/discount yarns sold by the bag are NOT returnable and will NOT be refunded in the event they are shipped back to us.
