Sporting Melange by Tropical Lane is similar to Sporting but with a slightly different fiber content. With 10% alpaca added to this yarn, Sporting Melange makes warm items suitable for cold weather.

Soft, bouncy merino wool blend
Content: 65% merino wool, 25% dralon, 10% alpaca
Weight/Yardage: 1.75 oz/50 grams; 136 yards/125 meters
Gauge: 20 st & 26 rows = 4 in x 4 in on US Size 7 (4.5 mm) needles.
Care: Handwash, lay flat to dry; Machine wash on gentle cycle possible.
