Knitted Measurements:
Approx 6" around x 8 1/2" long (unstretched)

 

Materials
1 ball Soloso #103 (or color of your choice)
US Size 6 double-pointed knitting needles

 

 

Gauge
Approx 28 st = 4" in 1 x 1 ribbing

 

Abbreviations:
m1 = make 1 stitch
pm = place marker

To knit gauntlet (make 2):
Cast on 32 stitches. Divide onto 3 needles. Join without twisting. Mark beginning of round.

 

1 x 1 Ribbing:
*(K1, P1), rep * around. Continue ribbing till piece measures 3 1/2" from the cast-on edge.

 

Thumb:
Increase Segment 1
Rd 1: (K1, P1) for 16 sts, pm, m1, pm, continue (K1, P1) around.
Rd 2: (K1, P1) till marker for thumb, slip marker, m1, K1, m1, slip marker, (K1, P1) around.
Rd 3: (K1, P1) till marker for thumb, slip marker, K sts between markers, slip marker, (K1, P1) around.

 

Repeat Rd 3 - two more times.

 

Increase Segment 2
Rd 1: (K1, P1) till marker for thumb, slip marker, m1, K to marker, m1, slip marker, (K1, P1) around.
Rd 2: (K1, P1) till marker for thumb, slip marker, K sts between markers, slip marker, (K1, P1) around.
Repeat Rd 2 - two more times.

 

Repeat Increase Segment 2 - three more times.

 

Final Increase Segment
Rd 1: (K1, P1) till marker for thumb, slip marker, m1, K to marker, m1, slip marker, (K1, P1) around.
Rd 2-4: (K1, P1) around.

 

Thumb Bind Off:
Rd 1: (K1, P1) till first marker for thumb, slip marker, bind off 13 sts, remove marker, continue in (K1, P1) around.
Rd 2: (K1, P1) till thumb opening, remove marker, cast on 2 sts, (K1, P1) around.

 

Continue working in (K1, P1) till gauntlet measures 8 1/2" at longest edge.
Bind off in ribbing.

 

Weave in all yarn ends.
