To crochet pot holder:
Ch3, join to form ring;
Rd 1: Ch2, 7hdc in ring, slip st in top st of Ch2;
Rd 2: Ch2, hdc in same stitch, 2hdc in each st around, slip st in top st of Ch2;
Rd 3: Ch2, hdc in same stitch, hdc in next st, *(2hdc in next st, hdc in next st), rep * around, slip st in top st of Ch2;
Rd 4: Ch2, hdc in same stitch, hdc in next 2 sts, *(2hdc in next st, hdc in next 2 sts), rep * around, slip st in top st of Ch2;
