2 (3, 4) balls Fluid; Color: 007 - Italian Plum [B] (or color of your choice)
US Size 10 knitting needles

 

This pattern used yarn that has been discontinued. Yarn may be substituted with Mezzo or yarn of similar gauge.

BACK & FRONT

 

With A, CO 96 (104, 112) st
R1: Knit
R2: K1, *(YO, K2tog), rep * till last st, K1
R3-6: Rep R2

 

Change to Stockinette St
R7: K
R8: K1, P till last st, K1

 

Rep R7 & R8 till piece measures 10" (11", 12") from beg.

 

Decrease Row: (Change to B) - Do not cut A:
R1: *(K2, K2tog), rep * till end - 72 (78, 84) st remaining
R2: K
R3-4: Carrying A up along side, with A: K
R5-6: Carrying B up along side, with B: K
R7-8: Rep R3-4
R9: Carrying B up along side, with B: K
R10: With B, K1, P till last st, K1

 

Continue R9 & R10 with B till piece measures 13" (14", 15:) from beg, ending with WSR.

 

Shape armhole: (With B)
R1: BO 5 (6, 7) st at beg of row, K till end.
R2: BO 5 (6, 7) st at beg of row, P till end - 62 (66, 70) st remaining

 

Dec 1 st each side EOR 5x, still continuing in stockinette st - 52 (56, 60) st remaining
Continue even till piece measures 17.5" from beg, ending with WSR.

 

Shape neck:
Work to center 12 st, attach another ball of yarn, BO center 12 st, K till end.
Working both sides at the same time, at each neck edge, dec 1 st EOR 8 times.

 

Continue till piece measures 20"(21", 22") from beg.

 

BO loosely.

 

Making Up
Join shoulder and side seams.
For side seams, leave 2" of bottom edge unsewn.
