The scarves and shawls made using the Diamond Mesh Stitch look more complicated than they really are! In this scarf pattern, Silver Swan Cotton Spa is used to make a beautiful, open mesh scarf.
Note: This can be made using Cotton Lumi, available in many beautiful colors.

 

Finished Measurements: Approx 46" x 4.5"

 

Materials:
Cotton Spa (color of your choice) or Cotton Lumi
Crochet hook, US Size I9 (5.5 mm)

 

To make scarf:

 

Ch 30;

 

Basic Pattern Stitch (Multiple of 4 sts + 2)

 

R1: Skip 1 ch, 1 sc in next ch, *(Ch 3, sk 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch), rep * till end; Ch 3, turn;
R2: *(1 sc in next ch-3 space, ch 3), rep *, end with sc in top of sc of previous row; Ch 3, turn;

 

R3: *(1 sc in next ch-3 space, ch 3), rep *, end with 1 sc in last ch-3 space; Ch 3, turn;

 

Rep R3 till desired length. (Note: On final row, end with 1 sc in last ch-3 space.)

 

Weave in all loose ends.
