Knitting pattern for an interesting hat and matching scarf

Knitting pattern instructions for a cool-looking hat with colorful raised ridges and matching scarf. Hat is sized to fit adult head circumference 20-22". Uses 6 balls of Fresco* and 1 ball of London*.

*Fresco and London yarns have been discontinued but you may use any yarn with similar gauge:
Approx 18 st = 4” in Stockinette St using US Size 6 needles for hat;
11 st = 6” in Garter St using US Size 35 needles for scarf.
