Knitted Measurements:
Approximately L36" x W30"

 

Materials
Palisades, Colors 1, 9, 14, 5, 15, 12 (1 ball of each color)
Merino Butter Sport, Colors 4, 2, 10, 1, 3, 6 (1 ball of each color)
US Size 10.5 (6.5 mm) knitting needles

 

Gauge: Not important

 

Note:

• Blanket is knit with 2 strands of yarn held together - one strand of Palisades and one strand of Merino Butter Sport
• When one strand ends, join with the SAME YARN TYPE, i.e. join with next color of Palisades when one strand is used up.
• Work in the following color sequence
  Palisades - Col 1, 9, 14, 5, 15, 12
  Merino Butter - Col 4, 2, 10, 1, 3, 6

 

To knit blanket:
With 1 strand each of Palisades and Merino Butter, cast on 3 sts;

 

Increase section
R1 (RS): K1, knit in front and back of next st, knit till end (mark this row as the right side)

Repeat Row 1 until width of blanket measures 30", ending with wrong side row.

 

Even section
R1 (RS): K1, knit in front and back of next st, knit till last 3 sts, knit 2 sts together, K1.

R2 (WS): K1, slip slip knit, knit till last 2 sts, knit in front and back of next st, K1.

Repeat Row 1 and 2 until length of blanket is 36".

 

Decrease section
R1 (RS): K1, slip slip knit, knit till end.

Repeat Row 1 until 3 st remain.

 

Bind off. Weave in all loose ends.
